      Family Cook-Night: Mexican Fiesta

At our Mexican Fiesta we will make our own tortillas for chicken tacos, easy Mexican rice and beans, and Mexican hot chocolate sundaes.  Come to our kitchen and work together as a family preparing a simple meal. We encourage all to participate (and even take on new responsibilities) in preparing these dishes together. Families are then encouraged to sit down and eat together reflecting on their experience. Sign up today- space is limited! Note: The Co-op does not define what family is. For purposes of this class, up to four people are included in this price. Each additional person is $5. This is for food cost only. FAQs Is this a demo or hands-on cooking class? This is a hands-on cooking class. Be prepared to cook in groups or pairs. Should I eat a snack before class? There is plenty of food served in each class, but depending on what type of class it is will determine when we eat. If you are hungry and it will be a while before we eat, you are always welcome to bring a small snack. Water and soda water are provided at each class. Classes offering alcohol are identified as such. Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? Children ages 13 and over are considered participants of the class and are charged at full price. Children 12 and under can join a class with a parent already registered for a class for a reduced cost ($9 members/ $10 non-members). To register a child please contact the service desk or write to classes@coopfoodstore.com for assistance.  What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? The Co-op Learning Center is located at the Centerra Park location in Lebanon, NH. The physical address is 12 Centerra Parkway, Lebanon NH 03766.  There is plenty of parking in our parking lot. The closest bus line is the blue line and drops off at the Hospital.  Once you enter the Co-op store, the Learning Center is located behind the prepared foods section- next to the café overflow seating area and restrooms.  What can I bring into the event? For hands-on classes please wear close-toed shoes and tie back long hair.  You are welcome to bring a phone or camera. No pets allowed. Is my registration/ticket refundable or transferrable? Yes. You will receive a full refund when the Co-op has to cancel a class, or if you cancel your registration with the Service Desk staff at least two full days in advance. But please let us know if you can't make it to class- we do issue partial refunds if we receive notice.  How can I contact the organizer with any questions? Questions can be sent via email to: classes@coopfoodstore.com  or you can call member services at (603) 643-2667.
